On 15 February, The Kids’ Cancer Project seeks to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research through K’day – coinciding with International Childhood Cancer Day.
K’day is where singular donations to The Kids’ Cancer Project are doubled thanks to the support of our proud matching partners – helping us double the impact for childhood cancer research and double the opportunity to realise our dream of no child dying from cancer.
Companies like property services organisation Blue Sky Services have been crucial in their support of K’day, contributing a significant amount of money to match donations and further assist the ongoing work of The Kids’ Cancer Project.
Blue Sky’s People and Culture Coordinator, Tha Yu Tin, says the entire company is proud to be so closely affiliated with The Kids’ Cancer Project.
“We admire The Kids’ Cancer Project for its unwavering commitment to its values and the tangible outcomes achieved in advancing childhood cancer research,” she says.
“Their transparent dedication to improving lives resonates with our team and inspires us to contribute to their mission.”
2025 is the second year that Blue Sky will be involved with K’day. After witnessing the impact of matching donations last year, Tha Yu says the company is proud to return in 2025.
“Blue Sky Services is honoured to continue as a matching partner because we genuinely believe in the difference we can make together,” she says.
“Being involved last year was incredibly rewarding and we saw firsthand the positive impact our partnership brought to the cause.”
The ability to match public donations aligns with Blue Sky’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.
“Matching public donations align with our mission to amplify community efforts for meaningful change,” Tha Yu says.
“By doubling the power of individual contributions, we not only inspire more people to donate but also collectively create a greater impact than any one group could achieve.”
