Our State Manager – QLD, Effie Kent, headed to Moreton Island last week to visit the wonderful team at Tangalooma Island Resort, an incredible partner of The Kids’ Cancer Project.

Tangalooma Island Resort have supported The Kids' Cancer Project since 2013. The partnership began after Oscar, the son of resort manager Brianna, was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, and with Oscar now thankfully in remission, the team have raised over $53,000 to support kids’ cancer research through their whale watching tours.

The team at Tangalooma donate a portion of sales from their whale watching trips each year to vital kids’ cancer research, plus some incredible prizes at our corporate events.

“We cannot continue to fund life-saving research without the support of incredible partners like Tangalooma Island Resort,” Effie says.

“They understand that by funding research we are giving our kids the best chance of survival from a childhood cancer diagnosis and to ensure they thrive after treatment.

“We are so grateful for the ongoing support of Tangalooma and all of our corporate partners.”

We look forward to growing our partnership with Tangalooma in the future!

A partnership with The Kids' Cancer Project means you are funding life-saving research. We'd love to meet with you and demonstrate how your organisation can make an impact on the lives of Aussie kids today.
